What causes the message: memory parity error on the server?
The following error message may appear on IBM servers and it is caused by a hardware malfunction:
HARDWARE MALFUNCTION CALL YOUR HARDWARE VENDOR FOR SUPPORT NMI: PARITY CHECK /MEMORY PARITY ERROR THE SYSTEM HAS HALTED
IBM has documented this problem with the IBM eServer xSeries 205.
