AeL Educational is a complex platform which offers the possibility of an easy learning process for pupils and brings in a teaching, useful, supplementary, teaching instrument for teachers. AeL is structured on four component elements categories: the virtual library, the virtual class, administration and testing. There is an additional feature, integrated with all the other modules: the dictionary.
The Virtual Class
AeL permits the synchronic learning in a virtual class, regardless of the location of the participants.

The teacher controls the lesson, decides what parts are presented to the pupils, in what order, and monitors the way the pupils interaction with the material. An important advantage is the fact that a virtual class allows a pupil’s participation at a lesson also independently , remotely, connected to his own computer.
In a virtual class, the teacher can:
- to control the lesson transfer to students
- to control the interaction level of the pupils with AeL
- to administrate and monitor the tests
- to communicate with the pupils by the discussion forums
- to monitor the work screens and the students on-line reports

Testing and Evaluation
AeL permits the electronic testing of the pupils, as well as assistance for grading.

The virtual library is dedicated mainly to the asynchrony learning and the teaching flows are defined for each course apart. Also, the self evaluation or the on-line ones are integrated. The AeL Educational gives the possibility of a hierarchic navigator, of filtration and different criteria searching.

ASM - AeL School Manager
Enables the management of information regarding students, teachers, classes, educational unit (school, high school), statistics.

Has 6 menus, which in turn are split into submenus, that assist the editing(writing, viewing, deleting) of the database information:
- schedule: permite gestionarea programului şcolar al întregii unităţi de învăţământ
- classes: have different properties, depending on the educational unit they are associated with (kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high scool, college, university); the number of students from a class depends on the type of the educational unit; includes class registers
- students: offers information about the registered students; includes a grade report for each student
- teachers: offers information about the teachers from a given educational unit
- defining the organization: offers information about the educational unit
- statistics: get statistics regarding grades, absences, school year averages, etc. - for an individual student or for an entire class.
Administration
The AeL Educational platform doesn’t offer only electronic courses, a strong data base, edition for all components and electronic testing, but also the administration of all implicated resources.

Represents a way of communicating within the institution, publicly or in dedicated groups. Useful information can be presented to those directly involved in the training process, as well as to the rest of the employees. This improves the information flow within the organization and consolidates team spirit.

This module enables the quick tracking of information in huge volume dictionaries.

The searches can be exact, approximate, or with substitutes (wildcards) and can be performed both locally (in dictionaries, Windows applications) as well as on the Internet. The module offers an easy-to-use dictionary editor that allows you to continuously enrich the available information, by adding and modifying terms, images, and so on.
