The students will learn how to identify the blood groups based on the BETH-VICENT method using hemotest serums O(I), A(II), B(III) - equivalent to the receiver blood. Also he learns some general rules for transfusions.
The students will learn general notions about haemoglobin and about the substances it combines itself with inside the lungs. Both oxyhemoglobin and carboxyhemoglobin are analyzed using practical applications.
The students are asked to do a virtual experiment through which they can identify the blood cells and the plasma. If they select the area of the blood cells, they can notice in the detailed picture the main components of the blood.
The students learn about the physical characteristics of the blood, like colour, density, overall volume and temperature. At the end of this section, their knowledge will be evaluated.
In order to evaluate his knowledge, the students will play an interactive game, in which they are asked to choose the correct answers in order to find the way out from the maze.
