Tulip and Related Plants

Through interactive animations, students will discover in an attractive manner the features of the tulip flower.

The students will learn how to identify the blood groups based on the BETH-VICENT method using hemotest serums O(I), A(II), B(III) - equivalent to the receiver blood. Also he learns some general rules for transfusions.

Blood Components - Platelets

The students perform a virtual experiment in order to identify the blood components. The platelets are highlighted and described in detail.

The Haemoglobin (Hb)

The students will learn general notions about haemoglobin and about the substances it combines itself with inside the lungs. Both oxyhemoglobin and carboxyhemoglobin are analyzed using practical applications.

The students are asked to do a virtual experiment through which they can identify the blood cells and the plasma. If they select the area of the blood cells, they can notice in the detailed picture the main components of the blood.

The students learn about the physical characteristics of the blood, like colour, density, overall volume and temperature. At the end of this section, their knowledge will be evaluated.

In order to evaluate his knowledge, the students will play an interactive game, in which they are asked to choose the correct answers in order to find the way out from the maze.

In this educational moment, students are presented several diseases that affect the function of the human heart.

In this virtual simulation, students are asked to cut a section through the human heart, in order to identify the muscles that activate the heart.

Structure of the Heart

In order to notice the internal structure of the heart, students are asked to perform a simulation, using virtual instruments.
