Computerization of the Moldovan education system

The main aim of the project was to improve the quality of teaching and learning within the public educational system by the use of computers and educational software.

The supplier consortium was composed of: EUROPEAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE (leader), SIVECO Romania, and LITERA INTERNATIONAL Publishing House.

The project had three phases that covered 62 schools and two Ministry of Education and Youth centers for education.

Within the project SIVECO Romania performed the following:

Delivered licenses for AeL learning management system developed by SIVECO Romania
Delivered 150 packages of digital educational content
Delivered the implementation methodology
Trained teachers and Ministry’s specialists
Technical support – level 2 and 3.

The digital educational content was developed by SIVECO Romania solely, being actually a process of adapting and localizing the existing packages from AeL eContent suite to The Moldovan curricula. The content works perfectly in Russian, as well.
