Recently in Iaşi took place the 7th edition of the Informatics Competition “Urmaşii lui Mosil”.

Initiated in 2001 by the “Grigore Moisil” Computer Science High school, the competition originally addressed to pupils who were part of the Regional Centre for Young People Capable of Performance Iaşi.

Due to the recognition it has earned in time, starting with 2007 “Urmaşii lui Moisil” became a national competition, and this year’s edition brought together pupils from 18 counties and Moldavia. In this year’s event took part personalities from Iaşi, pupils, teachers, local organizers, guests and sponsors’ representatives.

The outstanding performances achieved by Romanian pupils in Computer Science contests were demonstrated in this competition too. The strong competitors passed the tests, and dealt very well with the challenging subjects.

At the end of the contest Adrian Airinei a 12th grade pupil, was awarded the trophy “Urmaşul lui Moisil”, for the reason that he achieved the highest score in the competition.

The national competition for preparing performance in Computer Science coincided this year with the last round of the “.campion” program for training in Computer Science.
